My husband and I went to celebrate his 40th birthday. I did an online research of the best and most romantic restaurants in Aruba, and I could not have made a better choice! It was so beautiful; perfect combination of great staff, exquisite food, and romantic ambiance. From the moment we arrive Diana and the staff were attentive to every little detail—from dedicating songs to us on the organ to offering to take pictures during the sunset. The food was exquisite and my request for a special dessert for my husband was accommodated. We enjoyed Passions so much that we went for drinks the night before we left Aruba...to watch the sunset and to be in that wonderful ambiance just one more time...We would definitively go back to Aruba and Passions. |

Valentine’s Meal
For Valentines we wanted to have dinner at Passions on the beach at the Amsterdam Manor. When we tried to book dinner 3 weeks ahead of time we were told it was already booked up, mostly by internet and Email.
Because we are long time guests they made a sitting for us at 6:00 pm which was fine for us.
We walked over to the Beach Bar for a glass of wine before our sitting.
Just as we arrived a wedding ceremony on the beach was finishing up and the wedding party was served champagne as a violinist played in the background.
At 6:00 we were escorted to an excellent front row table. We were introduced to our waitress and told to relax, take our time, and have a pleasant evening.
As we finished our complimentary glass of champagne with a strawberry liqueur the sun was setting. Tonight’s sunset was a special one just for lovers.
The appetizers, entrées, and desert were very very good. I was concerned that the food would get cold too quick but the plates are heated and everything stayed hot for the whole entrée.
For desert the plate was cooled so the cake and ice-cream did not melt.
Chef Marc and Diana gave us another night to remember.
We have already booked for 2009.

We vacationed in Aruba in February, 2008. We had read about Passions Restaurant on the internet and were intrigued by the menu and the location on Eagle beach. We made a reservation by email prior to departing on our trip.
Passions truly exceded our expectations! We were travelling with another couple. All of us were thrilled with the service, the food and the ambiance. Dinner at sunset on the beach is truly a romantic experience. My husband and I really enjoyed the Seafood soup. It was excellent! We both really enjoyed our fish entrees as well. Our waitress was attentive throughout our meal.
We look forward to returning to Aruba next year and dining at Passions again.

Our 2 week stay at Amsterdam Manor for our 25th Anniversary was absolutely FABULOUS! Thank you, thank you to all who helped make it so! Our private dinner on the beach and renewal of vows was superbly done by the staff. The manager, Mark, runs a GREAT team of people in all areas and we very much enjoyed our visits with several as we dined at Passions (Best dining experience on the Island!!) and drinks at the bar. Tico, Diego, Diana, Angela and Maureen - you are great! We are both looking forward to going back. |
